Just Do It!

Hebrews 12:10-11 For our earthy fathers discipline is for a few years , doing the best the they know how. But God's discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening - it's painful! But afterwards there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained this way.

For a long time in my life I lived undisciplined. I woke up late, and did what I wanted to when I wanted to. There was no structure in my life. In my journey of learning about God and who he is I realized that being disciplined in the small things would lead to bigger and better things in my life! In the same breath, learning to trust myself in the small every day things, is leading me to trust myself with bigger and more important things!

Starting has been as simple as waking up at 6 a.m. everyday. Making my bed and spending time with the Lord! It sounds easy, but doing this is harder than just saying "I will." I want to lead a life that other people look at and they see something different. This means being different, doing the hard things, like waking up at 6 a.m. Instead of what is the easiest, like sleeping in till 8 or 9. I want to live a life that God blesses others through me. Meaning they see something different in the way I live my life! Opening the door to a conversation that leads to God!
